Paintings In Progress
This page is dedicated to the paintings I am currently undertaking. You will find them in various from drawings on panels to the very early underpaintings to nearly completed paintings. Just select the thumbnail in order to see the full size image. In parentheses with the titles of the paintings are brief notes as to the status of the paintings. These are meant to be self-explanatory notes, drawing being the earliest stage, followed by under-painting, then final-painting, and completed obviously being the last. To see all of my finished paintings, please visit the page: Paintings Archive. To see paintings that are for sale please visit the page, Work Available For Sale. All images are copyrighted by Jack Baumgartner.

I do a weekly electronic newsletter for my parish, Emmanuel Church in Killingworth, CT. We are a small parish of about 30 families. This week’s Gospel is from John on John the Baptist. I love your painting. May I use it? If yes, would you mind telling me why you painted it and what it means to you?
Thanks so much, Leslie
