These pieces are so beautiful. Do you primarily work from logs or tree stumps or other pieces you find on your own (as opposed to buying wood already finished)?
Thank you, Diana. I work mostly from wood I have harvested and/ or scavenged. A great deal comes from Greenwood county. I have developed a reputation as a tree collector amongst my neighbors and associations enough that I get notified of a fair amount of trees that are down for various reasons. I use a chainsaw to mill the wood. Also I have employed a band saw mill as well at times. It is great to be so selective in my materials, and to know, in most cases, the exact location where the tree had lived.
This page is crazy. There is so much work here! As always, there is another and special thing about seeing all of your related work together. It’s very powerful.

Hi Roni, thank you for your comment. The baby bed was a commission I did a number of years ago, so I am afraid it is not available for sale.
