Small green-turned bowl of apricot wood from my friend Tom’s orchard @themeadowlarkfarm Have begun adding the first layers of oil paint over the egg tempera foundation. Second Mystic Animal Messenger also 25 years ago. Mystic Animal Messenger from 25 years ago. In the spirit of the Walking Man as an “Everyman” character- this is an older drawing of a city bound Walking Man greeting a woods bound Walking Man. The original drawing exploring the Spiritual Mechanics of Labor and Rest Walking Man encounters God in the burning bush https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cn79xjaNQcY/ I needed a hinge that would be fully concealed where the door and case meet at 45 degrees and then to open a full 180 degrees, while fully clearing the cabinet opening and not taking up a ton of space at the same time. There are still some kinks and latching issues that will be caused by this design- but it does seem to work.

Shadow Puppet Workshop

I had the opportunity to do a afternoon shadow puppetry workshop with Sara Murphy in Kansas City for some high school kids.  Below are images of some of the interesting puppets they designed for an adaptation of Rumpelstiltskin.
