I’m guessing that the locust was kinda hard on the tools…
It is dense stuff, that is for certain, and the going is slow. It is a little ironic that some of the less dense woods like cottonwood and elm are much harder on the edges of tools.
Beautiful photos, wood and work. I can smell the wood chips.
