There are not so many people anymore that can see the simple understated beauty that natural wood has. People want to slap some paint on or do garish things to fine art nature provides. You clearly have that kind of quiet, observant soul that works with nature to enhance, or highlight, the properties each piece of wood has slowly and intentionally developed over a long period of time. People underestimate the power of simple. Your art is beautiful.
